It's A Juggling Act

clown_juggling_2

Some days I feel like I am juggling too many bombs, err I mean, balls in the air.

I was just sharing with the CG members that it takes a large portion of grace and God's wisdom to really know how to bring up a child.

And when I see him, how happy a little boy he is, it really brings a smile to my face & instantly warms me out from the inside-out!

On the other hand, work calls. I even pampered myself with a 19-inch LCD monitor to place at my workstation cos my eyes were so strained from peering my mini little laptop screen hours on end.

And every now and then, a plaintive cry from deep within me would groan out... I wanna go shopping! Or I wanna go for a nice looooooooooooooooong 3 hour spa!

So... this is where the juggling comes in.

This is me.

Wife-Mother-Daughter-Daughter In Law-CGL-Staff-Friend-Colleague... And the last hyphenate... I am ME.

Some one told me, not too long ago, that he cannot fathom why I am so busy. Gosh. I don't have a reply to that.

I can't believe someone said that to you! How could a blogger and mother of a 2yo NOT be busy? I'm new from SITS. Congrats on your SITS day!

You know, I think it's possible that he was being sarcastic! Or maybe you do it all so well, it looks easy to him. I dunno.

Not to worry, all of us know about the juggling and dropping the ball every now and again. You're doing great:)

Wow! It sounds like you are a very busy lady, but your life also sounds very rewarding.
You should be proud of yourself for handling so much, so gracefully! :)

I know what you mean - I don' t even work outside of the home and I feel like I am constantly juggling. Take care of yourself and keep juggling those bombs! Love it - that made me laugh.
Visiting from SITS! Happy SITS Day!

From a fellow juggler, I hear you! It's crazy isn't it? But truthfully, I still feel very blessed! :) Happy SITS.

Wow. You are good. I always drop a few balls when I juggle...

It is such a struggle! For me, I can become so disheartened with how often I come in last to everyone else, that it seems that will never change! But we all have to take it one day at a time.

It truly IS a juggling act, and I think, in my experience, that I drop a different ball every time. I just don't have the coordination for all this! :) But, God does, and he makes it all possible!!

...a sense of humor is a God-send as well!

obviously a HE said that- they are so one track minded. Only a woman is blessed (and cursed) with the ability to be all to everybody- ESPECIALLY when they are a mom. It's the not forgetting the YOU part that is important!

I just found your blog from SITS. I'm a stay at home mom and my working mom friends are my heroes! I don't know how you all do it. Make sure you take time for yourself too!

I totally understand. Now I'm a full time mom and full time employee somewhere else. It makes life very difficult sometimes and often I forget about doing laundry.

It's just a season, hopefully!

You wont make it without a little me time! So enjoy because it makes you a better juggler.

That is definitely annoying - some people just don't get it!

Congrats on your SITS day!

It must have been a man that said he doesn't understand why you are so busy! I am a single mom of a 12 year old and he told me last night, "I heard from a very reliable source that if a stay at home mom worked she would be worth at least $60K." --I just had to laugh. I'm not a stay at home mom and never had that desire but I do work from home so maybe in his mind he thought I'd be "worth" more if I were at Stay At Home mom.

You def. need some me time girl!

Gotta move that "me" up higher in the hyphenations. It's so hard, but you have to find something you love and not feel bad about it. Overall, it will make you a better mother.

I didn't realize what it was really like to juggle balls until I became a mom. It's crazy.
