Family Trip to Kuala Lumpur

This post is super long overdue. But I finally got around to download the photos from my trusty Canon!

We spent three wonderful days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is wonderful cos we managed to stuff our faces and have loads of rest in between!

Malaysia, more than Singapore, is a country that is at once both modern and yet old-school at the same time. Just check out the Chinatown area!

Quaint!

We had lunch at this Chinese Rice restaurant. All in all, we spent less than two hours – the weather was way too balmy for both Jay and I! Haha! My in-laws however, stayed on after lunch to shop a LOT more!

The majority of the time was spent at Pavilion Shopping Centre, where we walked and shopped…

and ate! Just check out the list of restaurants at the Shopping Centre! Glorious!

One fave restaurant was Ying Ker Lou – which offers Hakka cuisine.

My mum cooks the yam abacus n thunder tea rice whenever I request for them. The photos are making me real hungry. Do they sell yong tau fu?

Hi Karen, we didn't order the yong tau foo, but the yam abacus and chicken were super yummy! I am not really a fan of lei cha, so can't say much for that! :)
