The easier way to spa (Plus a giveaway!)

I don’t know about you guys… but for me, a great way to de-stress after a busy day/week/month at work is to go for a nice pampering session. Oh, it doesn’t even really matter what the treatment may be (a pedicure, a manicure, a facial or a massage) but the very fact I enter the spa and sink my toes into some lush carpeting and smell some lavendar in the air is enough to relaaaaaaaax me!

Unfortunately, spas are pretty expensive in Singapore. And not only that, with all the news of closures of spas have made me a tad wary of committing to spa packages (where you pay a lump sum and enjoy your treatments at a rate lower than the usual). Also, you tend to need to have multiple packages, as there’s no one stop spa that offers all treatments under one package price.

Which is why when I was first introduced to Blue Moon Valley, my first thought was: “What an awesome idea!” and followed by my second thought: “Man, I should have thought of this!”

Blue Moon Valley basically acts as a go-between. Between us (the customers) and the spas (or Spa-ticipants as they are called). From the Blue Moon Valley website, you can opt for a plethora of different treatments offered by the Spa-ticipants. And the range is so comprehensive – from eyelash extensions to body massages, from facials to hair loss treatments! 300 treatments altogether!

And because you are not dealing with the spa directly, the neat thing is that you are not tied to any package (and won’t be subject in case anything untoward happens to the spa) and you get to choose any of the treatment offered!

All new members get to enjoy the “Shika 111” Promotion as well. The “Shika 111” refers to the three “firsts” new members enjoy – the first treatment, for your first experience with a Spa-ticipant, booked in the first month! All the Spa-ticipants have offered a special treatment for “Shika 111” at a special rate as well!

I was given a complimentary membership to Blue Moon Valley to experience their booking system via their website and book my own “Shika 111” treatment!

It was smooth and easy – choose your treatment, then choose your preferred day and time (and an alternative) and it’s done!

A Blue Moon Valley person will contact you with the confirmed appointment date, and payment will also be made to Blue Moon Valley directly.

And the moral of the story?
