Fisher-Price Learning Kitchen (with a giveaway!)

Jay has a lot of toys. A lot. Every time he goes through a particular phase of being obsessed with a type of toys, he is inundated with all sorts of toys from the hubs and I, and also his grandparents and aunties! So when he was younger, he used to love animals – and he has so many animals of various shapes and sizes now, we can open a zoo. Then he moved on to dinosaurs. And we have plenty of those. In between, he dabbled with other boys’ stuff like trucks and stuff. And now he is into superheroes.

Xav doesn’t have a lot of toys. Horrible, I know. He usually plays with whatever Jay has, and whenever we go out, it is hard to find a toy that provides much “mileage” for a toddler, and those that do are often out of our price range. Haha!

I was happy when I was offered a review of the new Fisher-Price Learning Kitchen. In fact, we got this while we were on our Bangkok trip, and my mom who was helping with Xav for those few days was delighted beyond words that there was a new toy to distract and entertain Xav!

And there are even small carrots, jar and milk packets to make the whole experience more vivid. These also have a dual use – their shapes fit the slots as well.

IMG_9301 IMG_9296 IMG_9303 The Learning Kitchen is suitable for kids aged 6 to 36 months, so this gives a lot of mileage on the toy. At 19 months, Xav enjoys pottering around the toy, and I imagine when he is older, he will emulate his older brother in cooking up a storm for the rest of the family. In its typical Fisher-Price bright colours and attractive smiley faces, it never fails to bring a smile to my little one – even when he spots the toy in the toy store!

From now till December 2012, Fisher-Price is continuing with its Early Learning Fund Campaign – where parents get a shot at a S$10,000 cash sponsorship. To enter, you simply spend $20 on any Mattel Fisher-Price products (excluding Thomas & Friends products), submit the contest form with the purchase receipt by post or email, or upload a photo of the purchased item together with receipt on the Fisher-Price (Singapore) Facebook Page. There will also be 12 weekly winners who ach receive a Fisher-Price Learning Hamper worth S$1,000.

With Christmas round the corner, I think this is the best opportunity for you to ring up those purchases, and get these toys for your babies (or you can also send them over to my babies, if you wish… Haha…)

Oh, oh, oh…. but the BEST NEWS. I have one Fisher-Price Learning Kitchen set to giveaway to you! I am thrilled, cos I know your son, daughter, niece or nephew will enjoy this as much as Xav did – and this will bring a smile to their face!

Who can Enter

This giveaway is open to Singapore residents only.

I have been debating with myself over whether or not to get this toy for my son, but your review pushed me over the edge. Looks like there will be a kitchen under the Yule tree this winter. :)

Both my 3 yr old girl n 16 mth old boy cannot get their hands off this whenever they see it in the stores. It's amazing how both will stubbornly cling to it amidst all the available toys.
