The Difference Between Daddy & Mommy

Mommy: Dear, Baby has drool on his chin. Can you wipe it off?

Daddy: OK. (Wipes off drool with baby’s tee-shirt)

Mommy: I meant with some tissue…

Daddy brings Baby into the room to make him sleep.

20 minutes later, Mommy enters.

Baby is awake. Daddy is not.

Mommy: Dear? Dear? Dear! (nudges Daddy’s legs)

Daddy: (Stirs…) Hmmm…?

Mommy: What are you doing?

Daddy: Pretending to be asleep to see what Baby will do.

It’s amazing how very differently we think and operate and see things.

Nic is a fantastic Daddy still! :)

This is a clever post. I loved it! The way men and women approaching parenting is very different. I like to chalk it up to women just do it right and better!

Thanks for the laugh.

I wandered over to your blog from SITS.

Ha, Ha, Funny! I can totally relate because my husband is way more relaxed about parenting than I am! Men can be clueless! Just stopped by from SITS to say hi!

Oh man... my hubby did that too! But he never even pretend. He said "Baby will go to sleep when she sees that we are all sleeping..." XXX
